Senate Revenue and Taxation Committee
meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. in Hearing Room 1200.
Position Letters
Please note: Position letters submitted with unclear or incomplete information may be rejected with an email request to update and resubmit the letter. Only letters submitted on time with a clear name, organization (if applicable), and position on the bill are guaranteed to be reflected in the analysis; however, letters submitted after the deadline will still be a part of the archived bill file and may be reflected in the floor analysis, if the bill is referred to the Senate Floor.
When submitting coalition letters or position letters on behalf of one or more organization, please ensure that the correct organization name(s) are selected within the Advocacy Portal. If needed, you can add the unregistered organization into the system.
If you have any questions about submitting letters through the Portal, please refer to the Advocacy Quick Reference Guide. Still have questions? Please contact the committee at (916) 651-4117. We are happy to help!

The Senate continues to welcome the public and provides access to both in-person and written participation for public comment. If you are unable to attend a hearing in person, written comments or testimony can be provided directly to the committees by emailing the committee or utilizing the Advocacy Portal.
